7000 officers to take part in cross border security ahead of G7

Almost 7000 police officers will be involved in a cross border operation ahead of next week’s G7 summit in Biarritz in France.
Guardia Civil, Policia Nacional and national security staff will be working with French authorities ahead and during the meeting of the Worlds 7 largest economies heads of state.
Governments in both Madrid and Paris have been working closely to ensure that cross border traffic is secure ahead of the meeting next week.
