Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has said that the State of Alarm should come to an end on the 9th May.
In a press conference held at the Moncloa, Mr Sanchez said that restrictions on the movement of people would then revert to regional governments, rather than be managed in Madrid.
He also went on to say that he was hopeful that 70% of the Spanish population would be vaccinated by the end of August – in total around 33 million people.
