Proposed rules surrounding the festive season have been presented by the Government.

Limits on the number of people who can meet, as well as curfews on New Years Eve are expected to be brought into place ahead of the festive season.

In total six people will be allowed to meet at any one time, and New Years Eve celebrations will draw to a close at 1am on New Years Day. The draft document also recommends against celebrating the traditional Three Kings’ parade.

The government published the draft document titled “Proposals for Covid-19 public health measures for the celebration of Christmas fiestas.” yesterday.
