Restrictions on visitors from UK, South Africa and Brazil to continue to mid-March
Written by on February 25, 2021
Restrictions on travellers from the UK, South Africa and Brazil have been extended until the 16th March.
Details of the extension were announced after a meeting of the cabinet, which said the measures were in place to try to prevent the spread of new variants of the virus.
Currently only those with a legal right to arrive in Spain – such as being a Spanish national or in possession of residency – are able to return to the country. However an amendment to the rules is understood to have been tabled which may allow one off exceptions to the rules.
The current restrictions have been in place since the 22nd December.
