Restrictions come into force for all arriving on Spanish soil

Yesterday new restrictions for all those arriving in Spain came into force, with all those arriving into the country from high risk countries having to test negative on a PCR test.
All people arriving into the country from one of the EU high risk countries – including infants and children – must now be in possession of a digital or paper certificate showing the results of the PCR test.
The legislation surrounding the new controls also state that tests must take place no more than 72 hours before arrival at the destination airport. Those who fail to take a test before arrival will be tested and also face a stiff penalty.
