Coronavirus: Government say no plans to make vaccine mandatory

The Ministry of Health has said that there are no plans to make the coronavirus vaccine mandatory.

In a statement issued yesterday by the health ministry, they said that whilst there was legal options to make the vaccine mandatory, there were no plans at present to enforce inoculation against the coronavirus.

At the weekend, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced plans to open 13,000 vaccine centres nationwide to help with the distribution of the vaccination programme.
