Coronavirus: 600,000 of Moderna vaccine to “arrive in Spain in six weeks” – Illa

600,000 doses of the Moderna covid-19 vaccine are due to arrive in Spain in the coming six weeks, it was announced yesterday.
Health Minister Salvado Illa said that the order – purchased as part of a European wide purchase – will start to be distributed as soon as possible.
The news came as Spain passed another grim milestone, as the 2 millionth case of the coronavirus was detected in the country.
Spain became the fourth Western European country to pass 2 million cases, with 42,360 cases since Tuesday, bringing the total to 2,024,904. The death toll rose by 245 to 51,675.
